Essential (Required for the Platform to Function)
- JWT Authentication Token (local storage): Your encrypted login session is stored in your browser's local storage so you remain signed in as you navigate the platform
- Session Cookies: Maintain your active session state and current workspace and location context
- CSRF Protection: Help protect against cross-site request forgery attacks
- Cloudflare Cookies: Set by Cloudflare to identify legitimate visitors and block automated abuse
Functional
- User Preferences: Display settings, sidebar state, view modes, and layout choices
- Recent Selections: Last-used filters, sort orders, and tab selections
- Referral Attribution (local storage): When you arrive through a Refer & Earn link, the referral code is kept on your device for 90 days so the business that referred you gets credit if you sign up
Analytics
- Usage Patterns: Which features are used most frequently within the platform
- Performance Metrics: Page load times and error tracking, to improve performance
- Navigation Paths: How authorized users move through the platform
Technologies We Do Not Use
Profit Max CRM does not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Third-party tracking cookies for ad networks
- Social media tracking pixels
Third-Party Cookies
Some integrated third-party services may set their own cookies when you interact with their features. These cookies are governed by the respective third-party privacy policies:
- Stripe / Stripe Connect: May set cookies during payment processing for fraud prevention and to maintain the Stripe Connect flow
- Google Maps and Google APIs: May set cookies when using map, geocoding, and address-autocomplete features
- Google OAuth (Calendar, Gmail, Business Profile, Ads, Local Services Ads): Sets cookies during the OAuth authorization flow when you connect a Google service
- Meta: May set cookies during the OAuth flow when you connect Meta Ads
- QuickBooks (Intuit): May set cookies during the QuickBooks connection flow
Managing Cookies and Local Storage

Disabling essential cookies or clearing the JWT from local storage will sign you out of Profit Max CRM, as authentication and session management require these technologies to function.
